I’m Oleksandr Zhuravlov.

I’ve spent 10+ years building software — from frontend and backend development to infrastructure and engineering leadership. Oleks Crane is my way of working directly with founders and small teams, focusing on what matters most: building great products.

Zhuravlov comes from журавель, Ukrainian for “crane” — Oleks Crane is simply my name in English.

How I work

1. 01

   Direct collaboration

   You work with me directly: the person who designs the system is the person who writes the code.

2. 02

   I build — you own

   I take responsibility for a significant part of your product, from architecture to infrastructure. You own the result — the code, the docs, the decisions and the accounts — and keep me on because you want to, not because you have to.

3. 03

   Outcomes over hours

   I sell working software and the responsibility for it, not engineering capacity by the hour.

4. 04

   Evidence over claims

   I’d rather show you what I’ve built than list what I can do.
